EarthbornThe City of Waterloo Museum presents Earthborn: Waterloo Potters’ Workshop Annual Juried Show.

Earthborn is the annual, juried exhibition of works by members of the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop, a cooperative group, established in 1968 and operating since then in the Jacob Eby farmhouse in Waterloo Park.

Members work specifically on special pieces for this exhibition and also set aside remarkable pots from their usual production, for selection by a juror. Examples of ordinary wares produced by early village potters will be showcased together with these pieces.

Where: The City of Waterloo Museum, Conestoga Mall, near the food court.

When: This exhibit runs until Sept. 20, 2013.

Time: September to June: Wednesday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4p.m. July to August: Tuesday to Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m.

Cost: free
