Birthday Party Bowling at Brunswick Frederick Lanes

bowling shoeBowling and birthday parties have come a long way since I was a kid.  To be honest, I had always thought of bowling as a rather geeky activity, only participated in by that portion of the population still wearing horn rimmed glasses (long after and well before they were cool).  Birthday parties, on the other hand, were held around kitchen tables, hosted by mom and participated in by little girls in their very best dresses wearing pointy paper hats.

Boy, times have changed.

Bowling is now a hip activity that people of all ages participate in .  There are leagues for everyone from kids to senior citizens, after school and weekend bowling leagues, and best of all for my eldest, bowling birthday parties.  Brunswick Frederick Lanes is not the stereotype of the smoky, dingy bowling alley. Instead, it is well lit, very clean, and and thoughtfully laid out, with the lounge area well away from the lanes themselves, meaning you are not competing with those who may be watching tonight’s hockey game.  And during designated birthday party times, that is all that is going on, so no worries about disturbing a more serious bowling game.

My eldest son recently had his birthday party there and absolutely loved it.  He and five of his friends were able to bowl, eat, and dance away for two hours.  My only obligation was to show up with a peanut free dessert.  When we arrived, our party table was set up, our hostess greeted us and arranged for shoes, and away we went. Our included pop and pizza were promptly brought out to our table.   At the midway point, all of the kids were given a break from bowling and the hostesses led us in a group line dance.

At the end of our two hour party, we packed up our gifts and included loot bags and hit the road.  I didn’t even have to clean up the wrapping paper!

I would highly recommend either of the birthday packages available.  I have a special coupon available, perfect for keeping active during the upcoming March Break.  Simply print out the coupon below and present it to receive this great pricing.
