Jeans ‘n Classics: The Music of Annie Lennox and The Eurythmics.
Centre In The Square presents Jeans ‘n Classics The Music of Annie Lennox and The Eurythmics. Six of Jeans ‘n Classics’ finest female vocalists and members of the renowned Jeans ‘n Classics band perform with the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony.
The program covers a 25-year span of Lennox’s career and includes material from The Eurythmics, through her work as a solo artist, to soundtrack writer and Academy Award-winner.
Singing lead and group vocals are Rique Franks, Katalin Kiss, Andrea Koziol, Kathryn Rose, Leah Salomaa, and Lis Soderberg. The band includes Peter Brennan (guitar), Jeff Christmas (drums), Don Paulton (keyboards) and Mitch Tyler (electric bass).
