The sun and the snow

The sun and the snow You might not have noticed that I was away last week; just getting a little R&R in the Dominican Republic. We got back just as the snowstorm hit. The 401 had not been plowed yet. We were sleep deprived, sunburnt and just wanted to get back to Kitchener Waterloo. We did, but it took a while. They closed the airport about the time we were pulling into the driveway. It was pretty hairy!

It’s great to get away, but it’s nice to be home. Luckily the snow blower started.

Last week was Chinese New Year – the Year of the Snake began. It’s a good year for business I’m told, so that’s a good thing.

Circus Science under the Bigtop began at the Waterloo Region Museum. It’s there until May the 5th (Cinco de Mayo – one of my favorite holidays – the day a few years ago that I started my real estate career).

Last week we had some roots reggae at Maxwell’s Music House and date night, always an adventure – took us out to a Chinese Fusion Restaurant followed up with 50’s Bebop!

Our facebook page went over 1400 likes.

Coming up, we have the KPL’s Splish Splash Story-time, Valentine’s Day,  Family Day things to do, another restaurant and more, there is always more. Keep those suggestions coming in.

Ok that’s the update. I have to get to work, pay for the vacation. When I was away Alasdair landed our new listing, so have a bit of work to do marketing that sucker.
