Blue Monday update – You don’t have to go to Spain

mondaySo, today is Blue Monday. What’s that? A day created by a marketing company working for a travel service with the idea that your life sucks –> take a vacation “sunny Spain would be nice”. Sure it would. But, then there is lots to do in Kitchener Waterloo too.

This week I’m going to be brief in my update; I’ve got too lots of other stuff to do.

What happened last week?

Date Night was a highlight. We went out for Korean food and then some Brazilian Jazz. Life is random. I wasn’t so sure about the Korean food to be honest. I’ve never had Korean food before (except Kimchi – which I like) and the reviews were a little mixed, but as soon as we went in I knew I was in the right place. It was full of patrons, slurping and sucking with great appreciation. I’m not sure what I ordered but it was spicy and delicious.

Speaking of food, the Wine and Dine Festival started. Our local foodies are happy. We have some terrific restaurants in Waterloo Region.

Today in Waterloo, the Scotties Curling Tourney starts and coming up later this week we’re going to be speed networking at KWAG. I’m ready with my 30 second elevator pitch. We’ve also got a night of Gershwin and some midget wrestling coming up! Yeah, we have broad and eclectic tastes.

So stay tuned, tell your friends, submit your event, email me with any comments or questions you have.

Don’t be blue. There is alway so much to do in Kitchener Waterloo. Oh, I forgot to mention this great facebook page we came across – Vintage KW.
