Hot Raku With Christmas on the way, we have two unique shopping opportunities for you today.

Owl’s Nest Artists Open House and Sale

Watch members whittle away and display their work. An opportunity to join our group or buy items:

wood burnings and carvings

turned bowls and pens

painted items

jewelry

soapstone carvings

crafts

creations

Where: Adult Recreation Centre, 185 King Street South

When: November 24, 2012

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm

 

Hot Raku

Watch your creations transform during the dynamic raku firing. Decorate and fire three hand made ceramic ornaments: take them home the same day! They will be great gifts or ideal stocking stuffers!

Sign up for a session!

Cost: $30 per person

Tours offered while you wait for your creations to be fired.

Raku is an ancient smoke firing technique developed in Japan that produces unique and beautiful metallic and iridescent colours.

Admission to the Gallery is free.
