365 things to do in Kitchener Waterloo update
I don’t like winter. I tolerate it by knowing that spring comes next. It’s a long way away, but I love spring. What I do is try my best to keep myself busy over the long cold Canadian winter and every year I start a countdown to March 1st, not the first day of spring, but the first day of March. You see March is the turn around month. It’s the month that we know, just know that the cold weather is on its way out and the warm weather is trying to break in. There are 113 days till March 1st. That’s not so long, eh?
We’ve been busy around the offices of 365 things to do in Kitchener Waterloo. A highlight for me was the Toy and Collectables Show. There was some great stuff there (I love history). The other great event was Hike it. You’ll like it. Did you know that the Grand Valley Trails Association is 40 years old?
Around the offices of the Agents of Change at Royal Lepage Grand Valley Realty, we’ve been busy too. Some people seem to think that the real estate world is crashing around us. It’s not, (at least not yet). We are experiencing a balanced real estate market and Kitchener Waterloo homes sales are actually up (though prices are down a tick). Stay up to date at our facebook page or my website.
OK, back to 365KW.
Coming up, the Frederick Art Walk, Kitchener’s original art walk is coming up tomorrow. It’s a wonderful walk and you’ll see some great art too. Another great community building event is coming up – in its fifth year Random Act of Kindness is all about doing stuff that we really should be doing every day. Of course there is alway more.
If you like networking, you could have a look at the 365 Business Network. It’s a great place to meet online and in person with other people doing business in Kitchener Waterloo. We started it about eight months ago and already we have almost 200 members!
OK. That’s it. That’s my update.
