Kitchener Chess FestivalThe Kitchener Chess Festival is already in it’s seventh year! It is once again being held at Kitchener City Hall over the August long weekend.

The Kitchener Chess Festival has seen some of Canada’s top level tournaments as key events including the Canadian Open, the Canadian Closed, the Canadian Women’s, the Canadian Youth, the Canadian Seniors and is the home to the Canadian Amateur championships.

This year will see the Canadian Amateur Championship as well as the Canadian Seniors Championship and possibly one other top level tournament.

Where: 200 King St. West, Kitchener

When: August 3 – 6, 2012
