THE JAZZ ROOM presents MATT BRUBECK TRIO

Juno Award winning jazz cellist Matt Brubeck (son of jazz legend Dave Brubeck) is preforming with his trio at the Jazz Room in the Huether Hotel. Classically trained and with a Master’s degree in cello performance from Yale, Matt Brubeck is an incredibly responsive improvisor at ease in multiple genres. He is also very skillful on the piano and bass

With Ted Quinlan on guitar and Ted Warren on drums they’ll explore the complexities of jazz.

Matt has had a very highly eclectic career including cello contributions to live performances and recordings by Tom Waits, Sheryl Crow, Dixie Chicks and Yo Yo Ma.
