ECOFest 2012
ECOFest is a free environmental event to educate and motivate our communities to reduce their impact on the environment. This year’s theme is to “emPOWER yourself at home, work and play.” Children and families will learn about a variety of new environmentally friendly ways to live their lives, including powering their homes, travel options, and other ways to empower their mind and body!

Chief Top Leaf (story teller)

Wagon rides
Musical entertainment (for the kids)
FREE Shuttle from Fairview Park Mall to Waterloo Region Museum departs every 15 minutes from 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Juno nominated Fat Flea, playing in Jubilee Park at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Smudge Fundeas, playing in the theatre at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Door prizes
Visit the Greentec-Think Recycle exhibit to recycle SMALL unwanted electronics in support of Grand River Conservation Foundation! Acceptable products include: cell phones, laptops, digital cameras, ipods/mp3 players and ink/toner cartridges.
This is the 5th annual ECOFest held at the Waterloo Region Museum, Gateway to Doon Heritage Village.
Ecofest is a FREE event is geared towards families and children.
