Tapestry is Kitchener’s month-long festival of music, dance, food, art, storytelling and images. It celebrates our community’s great diversity. Tapestry festival takes place every June in a variety of downtown Kitchener venues.
Tri-Pride
Tapestry kicks off with tri-Pride with the largest LGBTQ Music Festival in Waterloo Region! This family-friendly event features a vendors’ market, silent auction, BBQ, TD Kids’ Zone, and a licensed area.

National Aboriginal Day
National Aboriginal Day takes place during the K-W Multicultural Festival. This event features traditional dance and drum performances, children’s activities, food, and crafts!
