Sustainable Waterloo Region 3rd Annual Evening of Recognition

sustainable waterloo regionSustainable Waterloo Region 3rd Annual Evening of Recognition  is a chance for us to come together with people from across our community as we celebrate the accomplishments of Regional Carbon Initiative members and the individuals in their workplaces who are leading environmental action. Aligned with the launch of our 2011 Report, we will share the inspiring stories of local individuals and organizations championing change for a sustainable future.

At this annual evening event, hundreds of community members will join Sustainable Waterloo Region in recognizing Regional Carbon Initiative members’ progress towards reducing their greenhouse gas emissions and in celebrating our collective progress towards a more sustainable region.

This year’s event will feature presentations from:

Diane Stanley-Horn

Berry Vrbanovic 

City Councillor,

City of Kitchener, RCI Observing Organization

John Neufeld, Executive Director and
