aWEARness Fashion Show
aWEARness Fashion Show is an Awearness Runway Production taking to the stage as it heads into its second annual event! What started out as a class assignment in 2011 has now developed into an exciting, industry leading milestone for the graduating class of the Visual Merchandising Arts Program at Conestoga College.
Melding their two years of hard work, education and experience into a capstone event, these students have developed, from start to finish, a fashion show styled production to showcase their talents. Unlike any other runway performance, each student was given the task to create a design based on an element of design while influenced by an emotion. Themes ranging from texture and sadness to colour and rapture, these designs will be showcased by an accompanied original video created in collaboration with the Broadcast Television students here at Conestoga College.
With Lynn Spence leading the event as the Master of Ceremonies on Wednesday April 4th and Thursday April 5th, 2012 at the Hub Theatre and Tannery Events Centre, located at 151 Charles Street West, Kitchener, this production is bound to be a stand out event.
Where: The Hub Tannery Event Space, 151 Charles St. W. Kitchener
When: April 4, 2012
