Looking for things to do with your Kitchner Waterloo kids this Saturday morning? The Muppets make their film debut in this heart-warming story about their rise to fame. It begins with Kermit the Frog sitting in a swamp singing and strumming a guitar. Realizing he can use his talent to “make people happy,” Kermit decides to head for Hollywood. During his trip, Kermit meets fellow Muppets Fozzie the Bear, the Great Gonzo, Miss Piggy, and an odd assortment of others who join Kermit on his song-filled journey. But before Kermit and friends achieve their dreams of stardom, Kermit must confront the man who’s been trying to catch him since he left the swamp–a man who sees Kermit as a potential meal ticket.

On Saturday mornings at 11am watch Cineplex Family Favourites. Watch a family favourite film each week for only $2.50. A portion of proceeds go towards supporting Starlight Children’s Foundation. It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy the weekend with your family!

Toot, Bang, Swish Conrad Centre Kinderconcerts

Kitchener Waterloo Kids concertIf something a little more highbrow is to your taste, how about introducing the kids to some classical music?

Mendelssohn Mouse discovers new friends, but can they all play together despite their differences? See what happens when you mix instruments from different families! The concert series Toot, Bang, Swish comes to the Conrad Centre this Saturday, February 18 for two morning mini-concerts, for children 5 and under, with members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.
