Ice Dogs Festival in Uptown Waterloo
It’s the 9th Annual UpTown Waterloo Ice Dogs Festival. A fun-filled day of winter activities including:
Saturday Activities
Free Public Skating Throughout The Day
10:00am onward
Public Square
- Bring your skates and enjoy the skating rink
- Skate Sharpening will also be available on site
Dog Sled Rides by Moonsnoe Kennels
Barrel Warehouse Park
- Take a spin around the track on an authentic dog sled
- Tickets available at the information booth
- For children 12 and under
Photos with Alaskan Malamute puppies by PKG Photos
Indoors The Atrium in Waterloo City Hall
- Have your photo taken with an adorable Moonsnoe Kennel Malamute puppy
- Photos are $7
Family Crafts
11:00am to 3:00pm
Button Factory, 24 Regina Street South
- Visit the Button Factory where you will create masks of your favourite animals.
Ice Sculptures
11:00am and 2:30pm
Public Square and various locations in UpTown to be determined.
- Watch a block of ice be magically transformed!

Ren’s PETS Depot Top Dog Model Search

Adult Rec Centre, 185 King Street South
- Top Ten Dogs will win the chance to participate in the On the Cat Walk Fashion Show presented by Ren’s PETS Depot
- You can register your dog at: Ren’s PETS Depot 1525 Victoria St. N. Kitchener; or at the K-W Humane Society, 250 Riverbend Dr. Kitchener
- Cost is $10. Space is limited.
- All proceed support the K-W Humane Society.
Siskins vs. Councillors Hockey

- Come and see the Waterloo Siskins play a fun game of hockey against the Waterloo City Councillors!
