365 things to do in January

Well, that was January, the month we waited for winter to come. Our wait was in vain – the last day was 8 degrees! It was a good month, a new start. A lot happened.

Around the offices of 365 things to do in Kitchener Waterloo we we’re busy. Our Cambridge and Guelph sites really continued to take off, and so did 365 Business.

Out and about, taking in the cultural event of the month, we saw the Brush Off competition at THEMUSEUM – it was like speed dating for artists. We got wet and wild at the free class of Aquazumba.

Back to business, the Ultimate Networking event was the ultimate in epic.

Our favorite community event was the KW Polar Bear. it was a cool day for a dip, for sure. Shake and Skate in Waterloo Town Square Public Rink was awesome too. There’s two more Shake and Skates coming up in February.

Speaking of awesome, a new restaurant opened in Kitchener. Holy Guacamole has the finest and freshest Mexican Burritos in the land. Alasdair and I went there in the opening week and it was really busy and really good. We went back already again.

Coming up in February, we have a PA Day this Friday, and Family Day coming up too (February 20). They’ll be lots of fun things to keep the kids entertained. For Mom and Dad, the music of Neil Young is coming to the Registry Theatre and Project Macfrica is coming to THEMUSEUM.

There’s a new restaurant – Worksburger – opening in Waterloo, but that it still a few months away.

There’s always lots to do in Kitchener Waterloo. If you like this site, please share it with your friends. Tweet it up. We also welcome your comments and suggestions.
