Kids Active Living Winter Classes – karate, yoga and sports conditioning
The beginner Karate program is taught by a Black Belt Instructor and will teach self-defense training for boys and girls. Participants will learn basic stances, blocks, strikes, and kicks. Ages 4-6 & 7-12 years.
Monkeynastix is a fun, challenging, noncompetitive movement education fitness program for children. Lessons include a warm up to music, stretch, eye/hand/foot activities, fine and gross motor skills, movement to music and working with specialised equipment – designed by specialists, endorsed by therapists and teachers, and loved by kids! Registration includes a t-shirt and participation awards.
Ages 1-2 (Parents must participate with their children in the 1-2 years program) & 3-4 years.
Mom & Baby Yoga
Learn yoga postures, breathing and other techniques while bonding with your baby. This program is designed for children 3-12 months old.
Parent and Teen Yoga
This opportunity to do a program together will be a fun experience while you learn yoga postures, breathing and other techniques. Both parent and teen must register for this course.
Ages 12 years and up.
Sport Agility Conditioning
This program for children will stimulate your child’s muscles, movements and joints by participating in fun moves and skills. These active skills will help with coordination and offer efficiencies for all sports while keeping your children in an activity that promotes a Healthy Active Lifestyle. Proper movement mechanics will prevent injuries and keep the player constantly performing to their full potential.
Ages: 5-8 & 9-14 years.
