Free Winter Kids Cyber Camp

With the boom in the digital world, the use of computer has become fundamental to a child’s education. The Social Planning Council of Kitchener-Waterloo (SPCKW) is providing a free winter cyber camp.

This camp has something to offer all kids interested in the incredible world of computers. It is a good opportunity for kids to explore the world of digital media and to learn the tools that they can use to develop their creativity. The lessons combine a fun learning adventure with technology concepts in a creative way. This is an excellent way for any kids to spend time during the winter to expand their knowledge about computer.

The winter cyber camp will focus on website design, claymation/movie design, photography, and music production. Kids can explore their imagination while learning the fundamentals of different digital media. The goal of this camp is to provide children with a stimulating environment which allows them to discover new interests.

Who: Kids age 7 to 12 years old.

Where: Mill Courtland Community Centre, 216 Mill Street, Kitchener

When: January 3 – 5, 2012

Time: 10:00am-3:00pm
