Family Literacy Day Kick Off Event

Come and hear the Mino Ode Kwewak N’gamowak (Good Hearted Women Singers) who are women from many Nations who come together to sing.  For them, singing is a form of praying with the Creator.

Elder Jean Becker will also be reading a book to the audience.  Other events taking place at the mall on Saturday include singing from the Children’s Choir, conseil scolaire district catholique centre-sud, as well as booths with children’s activities.

Time: 1:00-3:00pm
