An Evening with Chris Flanagan
Artist and DJ Chris Flanagan is looking to consult with local youth on Kitchener-specific slang, secret handshakes, and other physical gestures in preparation for his exhibition at the Gallery in March, 2012. Flanagan will be creating an installation based partly on the history and mythologies of Kitchener, the now-demolished Barra Castle, and input that will be gathered during this session.
Chris will also be sharing some information on his artwork and will speak about how music shapes the work that he creates. Refreshments will be served.
Where: Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, 101 Queen Street North
When: December 19, 2011
