RIM Park

RIM Park and Manulife Financial Sportsplex is the City of Waterloo’s premier recreation and park complex. Visited by about one-million people a year, this 500-acre facility, located in the city’s northeast corner, features outdoor sports fields, a multi-purpose recreation building, trails, parkland, a golf course, heritage elements, and public art. As well, it provides one of the longest stretches of public access to the Grand River shoreline.

Many exciting events are held at RIM Park each year, drawing large crowds to the world-class venue. Some of the highlights include: the mayor’s New Year’s levee, provincial and national sporting events, job fairs, art sales and shows and company banquets, seminars, conferences and holiday parties.
