stratford summer musicStratford Summer Music is Stratford’s “other festival”. Stratford Summer Music celebrates its eleventh season from July 18th to August 20th with over 100 events and performances featuring acclaimed artists from across Ontario, Canada and the world.

One of the highlights this season includes a national tribute to the late Canadian contralto and national music treasure Maureen Forrester. It will be taking place on July 25th at the Avon Theatre. Other free and paid events include Barge Music featuring World Music, Random Acts of Music by the National Youth Orchestra, Downtown Jazz Salute to the Junos, Music at Rundles, Organ Music at St. James’ Anglican Church, Classical Piano and Quartet Recitals at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Coffee Concerts at Balzac’s, and the ever popular Saturday Night Live Cabarets at the Church Restaurant!
