Hillside Summer Festival
The Hillside Summer Festival is a three-day celebration of music and creativity that takes place on five stages. It’s held at Guelph Lake Conservation Area.
All sorts of music is programmed: Three stages are devoted to indie and world music. One stage, the Rainbow Stage, is devoted to Children’s music; and one stage, The Sun Stage, is devoted to Spoken Word.
There’s an international food bazaar featuring local, organic food and a craft area where artisans sell their work. There’s also an Aboriginal Circle, a Children’s Play area, a Drum and Dance area and a Workshops area.
