365 Pranks to Pull on April Fool’s Day

Happy April Fools Day from 365 Things to do in Kitchener WaterlooToday is April Fool’s Day!  Pull a prank on your co-workers, your significant other, your kids, grandparents or even your cat – nobody is safe today!!  Traditionally you have until noon to do your prank – but I say if you really want to get them, do it when they won’t expect it!!

Need some ideas, check out a small list we compiled!  If you have your own ideas – let us know in the comments, we’d love to hear them!

1.  Do the Splits:

Find a scrap of cloth. Place a dollar on the floor and stay nearby. When the victim comes by and bends down to pick up the dollar, rip the cloth loudly. Most people will reach back to see if they ripped their pants. One of the original classic April Fool’s pranks of all time!

2. Spilled Nail Polish:

Find an old bottle of nail polish that you don’t want anymore. Unscrew the cap and set it sideways on a piece of waxed paper, letting the contents flow out into a puddle. When it dries completely, peel it off of the paper. Now you can put it anywhere and trick someone into thinking there is spilled nail polish. Works best on something your victim cherishes or on one of their important documents!

3. Growing or Shrinking:

Buy another outfit exactly like you are wearing in a few sizes smaller or larger – Change regularly throughout the day and watch the confused looks on all your co-workers!

4. Tape on the Head:

Place a piece of sticky tape on the cat’s forehead, then watch the cat back away from the sensation for as long as you can keep giggling.

5. Men’s or Women’s

Change the signs on the bathrooms at work so you reverse the men’s and women’s washrooms!

6. Pranks Office – Everybody Change Their Clothes

Tell everyone but your target to bring a couple of changes of clothes to work. Then walk by your target with a different set of clothes on every time.

7. Personal Fav:

Put an elastic or some clear tape on the spray nozzle on the kitchen faucet, and point the nozzle so that someone coming to the sink will get hit!  Video tape people in your family turning on the faucet and getting drenched!!  Sit back after dinner and re-watch your handiwork!!
