Uptown Waterloo Comedy Festival

Uptown Waterloo Comedy Festival in Kitchener WaterlooWho doesn’t like to laugh??  That’s right nooooobody!  There is no better way to get yourself in stitches than to head out and catch some good comedy – and it’s right here in our Amazing Cities!  These events are extremely popular, so make sure you jump on this right away, or atleast head out on the slower day (today = thursday)!

I don’t recommend walking into any of these events with a full bladder! (as is mentioned on the marketing posters as well!)  But be sure to get out and catch an evening of laughs at any of the many venues around the city including: Encore Restaurant (formerly Ali Baba’s Steakhouse), Huether Hotel, Starlight and the Princess Twin Cinemas.  All Great Uptown Venues.

This might be a new festival to our area, but it has already been nominated for a K-W Arts Award in the New Festival or Event category!  So it can’t be all bad.

Tickets are available online, but if you want to hit up an event, and it shows sold out, give the box office a call at 519-884-5112 and maybe they can fit you in!

Please be generous and post your photos and comments about this event either here in the comments, or on our facebook page!

See you around town!

PS – Check out the uptown waterloo comedy festival website – it’s very cool and has videos for many of the performers as well as bios and stuff – hours of laughs for while you are waiting for the event to start!!
