If it ain’t Scottish…it’s CRAP!!
Get out and enjoy some Haggis while celebrating the birthday of the legendary scottish poet, Robert Burns. Here in Kitchener, a Burns Supper is being put on by the Kitchener Waterloo Branch of the Royal Scottish Dance Society at the St. Jacobs Community Centre. Although Burns actual birthday was found out to be January 25, 1759 – Saturday is the celebration day here in Kitchener. I’m sure there will be plenty of bagpipes, singing, and sure to be some haggis and some scotch kicking around there somewhere! Check out the full details below:
Where: St. Jacobs Community Centre, 31 Parkside Dr., Woolwich
When: Saturday January 22nd
Time: 5:30pm
Cost: $37.50 per person.
Itinerary:
5:30pm – Reception
6:15pm – Supper
9pm – Dancing – Traditional Burns Programme and Scottish Fare!
Music will be played by Fred Moyes
