Grand River Film Fest Starts Today!
The Grand River Film Festival (GRFF) is entering its fourth season. Started by members of the Waterloo Region community with a passion for film, GRFF has become a catalyst for bringing lovers of all film together.
Each season features a lineup of film that includes Canadian and foreign screenings in multiple genres. The 2010 Festival will also feature The Best of the Best – a collaborative project with other area festivals to showcase what they’ve got.The community is encouraged to get involved by submitting their own films to the annual BMO SHORT Shorts Competition and emerging artists can participate in the day long Indie Lounge, which focuses on connecting amateur film makers with industry professionals. Finally, sprinkled through each schedule are some parties you won’t want to miss.
